The Caldercruix Community Project was established in 1992 by a group of local residents keen to make additions to the services available within the village and improve the quality of life for all local residents.

The Project‘s core funding comes from North Lanarkshire Council’s Community Development Grant. With this grant the project employs a community Development worker Jamie Tracey and an administrator Ruth Taggart, all other services are funded through external funding and sponsorship.

Any resident of the Caldercruix can join the management committee and make a positive contribution to village life. The Caldercruix Community Project is responsible for providing a number of services for the local community, our priority over the past few years has been to develop a youth work service that is tailored to meet the needs of local children and young people.

Our new website contains details of all the different clubs and programs that are currently running at the project.
